Great general-purpose NAS, February 26, 2011

Been using this NAS since early 01/2011. nice product!* (See Minor Issue & 
Suggestions.)

The Good:
     Firmware updates have gone smoothly and almost about everything 
works the approach it ought to. I even have watched home video files 
wirelessly, viewed photos wirelessly, edited workplace 2010 files. 
NAS simply networked across a Cisco router to Windows XP and 
Windows seven. The free net access to the NAS conjointly works well. 
Software for the NAS put in on each competently and therefore 
the NAS works for our wants. I actually suggest you modify the RAID 
setting from one 2GB array to one 1GB drive/backup array. 
Best safety however worst performance throughout copying. 
(Reading is simply fine.) The iTunes media server works okay. 
The LG BD590 will see the media server and therefore 
the drive on the network, that the BD590 will scan files by their original 
folder structures or by the media server's structure.

     *Minor(?) Issues: Are you a techie? If not, be terribly careful if you 
choose to line up the system in duplicating RAID mode. Since the OS
